Domaine Grand Tradition Cotes Du Jura Blanc 2009 (Jura wine region France)

Although not a pure play this wine contains Chardonnay and "Yellow Wine" made from the Savagnin grape (don't confuse it with Sauvignon) . It is called Vin Jaune and comes a small wine region in eastern France called the Jura. I found out about this grape back in 1998 and never thought I would get a chance to try it. This grape is the specialty of the Jura and is grown almost no where else (although ironically it is grown in Ontario)

Great Wall Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

A look at a wine made by the Peoples Republic of China. It was one of the Official wines of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Did they make a world class wine? Is it simply bad. Check out the review and see the SQ Weighted score I give it.

World Wine Review Cavallina Grillo Pinot Grigio 2008

A very good value for sweet/hyper sensitive tasters. Great mix of citrus and honey
